Question
How do I apply for a vacancy?

Answer

There may seem like a lot of info below but this section is handily divided into two parts of which you'll only need to read one (we're good to you guys!). Registered emedcareers users will find simple step-by-step instructions in the first part whereas non-registered users should read the second part for their answer to this question.

Instructions for Registered Users: (For Candidates who DO already have a personal emedcareers Account).

  1. If you find a job you're interested in, click the orange Apply Now button.
  2. Input your email address into the registered users section.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Select the orange LOG IN button.
  5. You will then be on the Job Application page.
  6. Select if you are authorised to work in the location shown.
  7. In the Covering Letter section you can leave the standard text as it is, or you can create your own covering letter by just overtyping the existing information.
  8. If you want to use the CV you already have stored on emedcareers, just select the Apply Now button at the bottom of the page.
  9. Or if you wish to use an alternative CV that you have stored on your PC, simply select the Browse button and attach it.
  10. Finally click on the Apply Now button.

Your CV will be forwarded to the recruiter who advertised the vacancy on emedcareers.

Instructions for Non-Registered Users (Candidates who DO NOT already have a personal emedcareers Account):

  1. If you find a job you're interested in, click the orange Apply Now button.
  2. Input your email address into the guest user section.
  3. Click the browse button.
  4. You will then be prompted to search your PC or disk for your saved CV (if you don't have one saved then I'm afraid you'll have go back and do this).
  5. Once you have selected your CV click 'Save Now'.
  6. Select the checkbox to indicate if you are authorised to work in the location shown.
  7. Read the Terms & Conditions and tick the checkbox to confirm you accept.
  8. In the Covering Letter section you can leave the standard text as it is, or you can create your own covering letter by just overtyping the existing information.
  9. Finally click on the Apply Now button.
  10. You will be informed that your application has been sent and you will then have the option of registering with emedcareersby filling in a few bits of information on the Create Account page (for those who want to do this it doesn't take long).

Your CV will be forwarded to the recruiter who advertised the vacancy on emedcareers.

A list of your applications can be found in your 'My emedcareers' page to help you keep track.
